Current & Future Adult Sunday School Classes

Sunday study classes for adults change every quarter, starting in September, December, March, and June. This allows adults to seek topics of interest and make new friends along the way. Some longer studies may extend multiple quarters. See what class is best for you for the current quarter. Checkout new classes here a few weeks before each new quarter starts.

NOTE: if the class recommends paid materials, the registration must be placed prior to a week before the class starts so that materials can be ordered. Otherwise, you will need to acquire the materials on your own.

I Samuel

Facilitator: Bob Jones

Dec 1 — Feb 23

"The books of Samuel have more than biographical and historical interest. The central theme of the books traces God's gracious and overruling sovereignty in the sad state of affairs in Israel at the end of the period of judges by His providential selection of righteous men (i.e., Samuel and David) who would weld the nation into an instrument of His will and a people for Himself. Despite Israel's rejection of God as King, He would prove faithful and eventually see to the appointment of a godly king, David. With this one He would enter into an everlasting covenant that would affect the destiny of both Israel and all the world. For through David would come Israel's King par excellence, Israel's Messiah and the Savior of the world, the Lord Jesus Christ." Except from the Old Time Gospel Hour Bible

Way of the Master

Facilitator: Pastor Troy Nelson

Dec 1 — Feb 23

Based on the award-winning TV series The Way of the Master, the Basic Training Course is specially formatted to train believers in a group setting to simply and confidently share the gospel with family, friends, and strangers. These lessons will teach you to overcome your fears by using a proven, powerfully effective way to make the gospel make sense. You won't be at a loss for words. You don't need to be an expert in apologetics. Instead, you'll learn the forgotten biblical principle of bypassing the intellect (the place of argument) and speaking directly to the conscience (the place of the knowledge of right and wrong) — the way Jesus did. Weekly homework assignments will gradually coax you, step-by-step, out of your comfort zone to reach your loved ones for Christ. You will be inspired and motivated as you learn, watch, and then do.
