Current & Future Adult Sunday School Classes

Sunday study classes for adults change every quarter, starting in September, December, March, and June. This allows adults to seek topics of interest and make new friends along the way. Some longer studies may extend multiple quarters. See what class is best for you for the current quarter. Checkout new classes here a few weeks before each new quarter starts.

NOTE: if the class recommends paid materials, the registration must be placed prior to a week before the class starts so that materials can be ordered. Otherwise, you will need to acquire the materials on your own.

From Hard Places

Facilitator: Adam Philbrook & Linda Robbins

Sep 9 — Nov 25

A Biblically based study designed to help parents, grandparents, teachers, the church family, or anyone who spends time with children with trauma histories. Learn and understand how trauma impacts the brain, biology, beliefs and behavior of children from hard places. More and more families in our church are responding to God’s call to care for the fatherless. Every one of these children has experienced trauma at some level. Whether you are considering adoption or just want to learn more about how you can support a family that is in the process, please consider joining us in class.

Ezekiel

Facilitator: Bob Jones

Sep 2 — Nov 25

The purpose of the Book of Ezekiel is essentially threefold: (1) to explain that Judah must be judged for disobedience; (2) to encourage the remnant of Judah through prophecies of her glorious future restoration; (3) to emphasize the preeminence of God's glory and character. The glory of God may well be viewed as the theme of the book, because Ezekiel's ministry begins with a vision of God's glory and emphasizes it throughout the book.
